Presentation by Stephen Dominy of Christian Aid talking about how that organisation gets local firms to run projects aimed at reducing poverty in countries such as India and Nicaragua. They very much follow the route of involving local businesses and people to bring about sustainable improvemtn in people live rather than just handing out short term aid. Chris presented a cheque form the clubs charity fund at the end of the evening.
