Casterbridge Rotary Club participated in the organisation of the Dorchester Carnival last year, on Saturday 18th June 2016.

Members of our club are again joining the other Rotary Clubs in the town and other organisations to help to run the carnival again this year. As a result of their efforts and the generosity of the people of Dorchester the event plans to raise funds for local organisations and charities. This Year, our club will be out with our sleigh, fundraising in Dorchester town centre for Rotary Charities and Weldmar Hospicecare – we hope to see you and thank you everybody for their support.

We were pleased to have been invited to the Volunteer Open Day at the Dorset Museum, organised by the Volunteer Centre Dorchester. It was a great opportunity to showcase the activities of the club to the public and network with other like minded groups.

Casterbridge Rotary were very pleased to be able to offer Young Writer, Young Artist, Young Chef and Youth speaks in the last Rotary Year. We thank all the young people who entered, the schools, judges and parents who supported us.
