Angela talks RYLA at Dornoch Academy

Nicole Foreman joined Rotary Club member Angela Grant on stage at Dornoch academy to deliver news about places at Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) camp this summer.  Nicole, as a student, had attended the RYLA Camp last year and club member Angela had been a mentor at that camp therefore both spoke with authority and enthusiasm about the outstanding opportunity the camp provides for young people.  The 50 plus audience were captivated by the talk of gorge walking, canoes, cliff climbing, mountain biking, woodland games and raft building along with the opportunity to make friends for life while discovering their inner self and how to gain respect from others.

We will return in March to select 2 candidates for this July when some from today’s group may enjoy a life changing experience.
