On Tuesday, December 20th, 5 of the members of Greenbank Interact Club visited Zoe's Place, a childrens hospice in Liverpool, accompanied by Ian Raikes, the Head Teacher and Rotarian Ted Mason. They were shown around the facility to see the work the hospice does. The Interact Club had raised £500 for the hospice and with a very kind matching grant from The Rotary Club of Southport Links were able to donate a total of £1,000 to the fundraising team member, Rachel Maher. Interact is a service and social club for young people aged 11 to 19 - based on the model of a Rotary club. Each club is sponsored by a Rotary club which guides the members in the development of their club. The club can be either school-based or community-based and are self supporting and self governing.
