In round 3 of the district quiz, The Rotary Club of Southport Links faced the RC of Ormskirk Clocktower in an away tie at Hartley's Garden Centre, Lydiate
In round 3 of the district quiz, The Rotary Club of Southport Links won on the night 82 points to 63. However the 24 point handicap proved too much for the Southport Links team to surmount, and they went down by 5 points. Unfortunately, the transfer window closed just 30 minutes after the quiz ended, so the team were unable to buy in any new players! Roger Haydock was seen driving to Hartley's Garden Centre on the night, but was denied permission to talk to the team selectors.
Congratulations to Ormskirk Clocktower and hard luck RCSL - time to retake the trophy next year!
