Five girls from the Greenbank Interact Club, accompanied by Ted Mason and Ian Raikes, Deputy Head of Greenbank High School, paid a visit to the Imagine Project (formerly the Rocking Horse Appeal) at Alder Hey Childrens' Hospital.
They had selected the is their Domestic Project and in September Mrs Irene Axen, Fundraiser for the Imagine Project, came to Greenbank and suggested that the greatest need for the Hospital is facilities to keep the children entertained. One of the girls was herself in Alder Hey Hospital in November and realised that the need was greatest in the 14
