Ullswater 25 RYLA Shelterbox Challenge

After 2 successful weeks of RYLA this summer, our candidates inspired by Shelterbox want to give something back. On the 5th of October they will be aiming to paddle the length of Ullswater.

36 young people across the North East took part in the RYLA 2025 leadership challenge which saw them take part in activities which included archery, abseiling,wild swimming and gorge walking.
The two candidates that were sponsored by Stokesley Rotary, Tilly and Elise, are supporting the Ullswater 25 Challenge.
On 5th October two teams of RYLA graduates will race the length of Ullswater on giant stand-up paddleboards, each carrying a loaded Shelterbox, in order to raise funds for the ShelterBox charity. They have already raised almost £1200 towards their target of £1500 – a magnificent total that is close to the cost of two ShelterBoxes.
