Suitably socially distanced 6 Rotarians from our club and the Rotary Club of Ipswich East painted skirting boards ,door frames and fixed cupboards in the nick of time before flooring was laid at a new night shelter. The night shelter managed by the CELIG Trust is a newly acquired building and will be used for homeless men in Ipswich.
This was the second project during the pandemic having earlier in the year carried out garden clearance for a person in fairly deprived circumstances who was physically unable to carry the work herself and could not afford to pay anyone to do so.
