We have made several financial donations to The Pink Sister’s Charity which is based in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent. The charity supports both men & women who suffer from cancer.
We support the High Peak Baby Bank which meets locally in Meir and Blythe Bridge library.
We support financially the Blythe Bridge Football Club.
The Local branch of Young Carers.
We have financed a bus trip to Blackpool for members of the Over 55’s club in Meir.

We have donated over 600 Books for children in Fulford and Primary and Sandon Primary.
We financed the purchase of a Lymphedema machine for the Douglas MacMillan Hospice.
We have funded a day out for school 90 children in Sandon Primary and Fulford Primary
NATIONALLY
A financial donation has been made to Prostate cancer charity.
INTERNATIONALLY
UKRAINE – We have purchased a consignment of medical equipment for Ukraine.
In addition, the Club purchased a medical staple gun and 12 boxes of staples for use on the front line in Ukraine. Along with a consignment of food when the war first started in 2022.
The club regularly donates money to the Rotary Foundation to eradicate polio.
We have made many loans through the Lend with Care organisation from an original budget of £1,000 we have made 55 loans totalling £3,363 since we first stated in 2016.
We make annual donations to schools in both Uganda and Kenya.
We support financially THULENENI DLAMINI in South Africa who is training to be a Special Needs teacher.

moreOn the 3rd July 2023 saw the end of the Rotary year 2022/23 and the start of the new Rotary year 2023/24.
moreOn the 30th June 2024 the club will be organising a sponsored walk in Longton Park in support of Armed Forces Day and other charities.
moreClub member Mary is undertaking the Samaritans Challenge in November and will be walking 50miles with her beloved dog.
moreOur funding for 2023 enabled Thuleleni to achieve her qualification to a National Diploma in Early Childhood Development. She now has a recognised qualification for teaching children from birth to five and hopes to get a teaching role very soon.

moreThe Rotary Clubs of Blythe Bridge,Stone, Wednesbury and Willenhall joined together to provide 300 Primary School Children. This is often the only meal each day. The cost of the meals is £575 a month and they now will be fed for the next four months.
moreThis joint venture between the Rotary Club of Blythe Bridge & District, Rotary Club Pinetown South Africa District, Bolton Daybreak Club (UK) and the Rotary Club of Salem Massachusetts USA District.
moreThe club has funded this sustainable project funding the purchase of chickens and housing for the chickens which will allow the school to sell eggs in the local market.
