Football kits to Africa

Past President Irene Childerley and her partner John Martin (from Cambridge club) went once again to our Gambia project in January .The day before they left they collected over 2 suitcases packed full of Cambridge City and also Duxford football kit and children’s football boots. Previously last year, we donated a wheelie bin for the players to put their unwanted kit
Essa (see biography below) is now a follower of Cambridge City and the teams are delighted with the kit. He chose the team in Busumbula and also a junior team in his village about 3 hours from Banjul.
