True Fellowship
Meeting up with member Vernon Docwra
Today we practiced true club fellowship when 8 members met with long-standing member Vernon and his wife at The Dolphin Melbourn for lunch,
Vernon has been suffering with MND for the last few years and now cannot attend our meetings. Vernon was able to drive in his electric wheelchair from his bungalow to the pub.
Vernon looks well in himself, with his wife Hilary acting as his carer. He now gets around his bungalow via a series of hoists transporting him from A to B.
It was really great seeing them both and we hope to have more meetups going forward.
