2026 Burns Night
at The George
Our January went very well, rounding off with our very own Burns night. Bagpipe music was playing as people arrived, creating the right atmosphere ! President Sally started us off with the Selkirk Grace.
Most of us enjoyed Haggis neeps and tatties, followed by Cranachan. A few less adventurous enjoyed normal fayre.
There were quizzes about Robert Burns, Scottish foods, enjoyed by all. We finished the evening with Auld Lang Syne,
