This week our Speaker was our Global Scholar Bosun Jung. Bosun is from South Korea, and had promised to speak on her country after her scholar talk to us.
South Korea is in East Asia, it's capital Seoul. The size of the country is smaller than Wales and has over 50 million people. The housing is mainly in apartments which are usually 14-15 storeys high.
Bosun talked about the history of the country, the hanguel method of language and reading. She even showed us all our names in the language.
She also told us about Food, drink.culture and religion. 99% of people go to university, education is very strict with the same books being taught at every school.
They have 4 seasons very much like ours, except for the heat, they even have SNOW!!!!
