This committee manages activities for younger people ranging from primary school to international scholars. Initiatives supported include other groups involved with the welfare of young people.:-
RotaKids: -
The main objective of 'RotaKids' is to introduce Rotary ideals to young people, as well as addressing citizenship, which is becoming a major theme in schools. We work closely with Cookham Dean Primary School and receive good support from the Headteacher.Activities have included visits to Elizabeth House.
RYLA: -
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. RYLA may take the form of a one-day seminar, a three-day retreat, or a week-long camp. In the UK the week long course takes place at Rhos-y-Gwaliau, a small hamlet near Lake Bala in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. Candidates are sponsored by a Rotary club or possibly an employer. Young persons aged between 18 and 25 who would like to be considered for the next course should contact Margaret at Cookham Bridge Rotary Club (contact form is below), or the following link: -

Cookham Bridge also provides some financial support to 'Family Hub' and 'Young Carers' to meet specific needs.

In addition to fund raising and supporting the local community, CBRC has a social and 'fellowship' programme. Examples include the annual President's Night, Theatre Trips, Walks and many other events.
