Newark Town under-8s Titans football team were sporting brand new kit tops thanks to a generous donation from the Rotary Club of Newark Castle.
Rotary club member Mac Mallard and incoming president Jayne Mason presented a cheque for £300 to Newark Town vice chairman Sarah Robinson.
The trio joined the team on the pitch at the YMCA to watch them train and take a group photo.
The youngsters were showcasing their new training tops thanks to a generous donation from the Rotary Club and they were only too happy to take a few minutes out of their training session to stop for a photo-shoot,” said Sarah.
Lewis Chambers, the team manager, was also happy to get involved and pass on his thanks too.
"It was lovely to have Mac and Jayne join the team at training. We rely heavily on sponsorship and donations for all sorts of club expenditure and are so very grateful for all financial support. On this occasion, the newly created team was looking for a training top sponsor and Mac and Jayne kindly stepped forward. We are looking forward to seeing more of Mac, Jayne and other rotary club members at the club. The children will wear their logo with pride.”
