Back in June members of Newark Castle Rotary got together with the "Friends of the Wharf" members and volunters to spruce up the wharf area. This involved a variety of tasks including weeding, planting and a general tidy up of the area. the centre piece of the floral displays being the planting up of a rowing boat along with numerous hanging baskets.
The photographs show the volunteers taking place on the day back in June 2021 and from the presentation of the awards in January 2022. The certificate is awarded by the Royal Horticultural Society and represents a Neighbourhood Award of Level 5 - Outstanding.
A great effort by all!
