Rotary Club Meeting. Monday 16th March 2026
Petrol-head or eco-warrior, we can all understand how the passage of time changes perceptions and builds new understandings.
Hungerford Rotary Club’s speaker on 16th March at the Bear Hotel is Mike Salmon. His illustrated address is titled ‘Boy Racer to a Race Driver’ and he will chronicle his love of motorcars and how his love of speed took him from racing production cars and Hot Rods around oval dirt circuits to Porsche national support races at European circuits and the British grand prix.
Partners and Guests are always welcome at our speaker meetings.
This is the penultimate talk in Rotary’s Winter Programme and to reserve your place, please email Myles Young on
myles@amtecs.co.uk. Timing is 6:30 for 7pm if you wish to have a light meal beforehand, (cost £15/head), or if you just wish to listen to the talk, be in the Hotel’s reception area when someone will collect you at about 7:45. The cost of just attending the talk is a contribution to Rotary’s charitable funds of £5/head – all money payable by cash or card on the night.
