Santa's Sleigh tours Hungerford and District
The Sleigh returns for another year
Hungerford Rotary Club’s Santa’s Sleigh was active last week around the Town and in Kintbury playing carols and bringing the Christmas spirit to many young children in return for donations from their parents. Income from the exercise goes to Rotary’s charities.
The event was aided by an elegant electric vehicle, a BMW i20 iXDrive40 M sports edition, kindly loaned by Dick Lovett, (which allowed Santa for the first time to be emissions-free), and oranges and sweets were supplied by Tesco’s and Farewise Travel.
