Hungerford Rotary Supports Action through Enterprise

The Chief Executive of  Action Through Enterprise is Sarah Annable-Gardner who lives local to Hungerford and has given a talk to our club on various occasions. She has just sent us the following report.

You will be really pleased to hear that the four apprentices that you so generously supported are now back in their apprenticeships, with their new trainer, and they are absolutely delighted! And so am I. 

I attach a picture of (from left) Martha, Felicia, Bertha and Ophelia at their new workshop very proud and excited on their first day with their new trainer. And another of their trainer, Comfort, receiving the training fees funded entirely by Hungerford Rotary Club from our wonderful staff member Charity Kyekpo. I hope your club enjoying seeing their donation in action, and the beautiful smiles on the faces of the women you have directly helped. 

I am beyond grateful to you all for this incredible support to these resilient women. They will work really hard in this placement, learning lifelong vocational skills which will make a good living for themselves and their children long in to the future. The donation you have given is genuinely life changing. Thank you very very much.
