The new President for Hungerford Rotary Club

Llyn takes over from Myles as the new President
Llyn Robins recently took over from Myles Young as the new President of Hungerford Rotary Club. The presentation took place at a social evening hoisted by the outgoing president which was attended by club members.
Llyn thanked Myles and his family for a very successful year as President. Not only did the club make a lot of money for their chosen charities but we also increased the membership. Something very rare with Rotary clubs at the moment. The club ended Myles' Presidential year with donations to Noreen's Kids, a charity helping sick children in Romanian, Sight Savers International, who provide outreach eye hospitals in India, and Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity very close to Myles' family.
New President Llyn intends to follow on from Myles’ success by continuing with the popular fund raising projects. The Bridge competition, The Santa Sleigh evenings, The Santa Fun Run, The Classic Vehicle Show and the Plant Sale. For the membership, the club has arranged for interesting speakers and entertaining Partners evenings. Llyn said that he is looking forward to his year as President and leading the club in giving something back to the community.
