The glorious weather brought out a record number of people to Hungerford Rotary Club's bring and buy plant sale. With hundreds of plants donated by Hungerford's keen gardeners there was plenty to choose from and expert help was on hand to advise on which were the best plants for the buyers gardens. With tables packed with annuals, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, perennials and even small trees there were plants for every garden. There was even an area selling garden accessories including pots, tools an ornaments.
This event has always been a great success and this year was no exception with almost £1,000 being raised for Rotary charities. The club expressed their thanks to Hungerford Rotarian James Brown and his wife Louise who were the chief organisers for the club which was held at their house in The Croft, Hungerford.
