Rotary Club of Hungerford has made a donation of £750.00 to Priors
Court school in support of their Health and Wellbeing Hub appeal.Young people at Prior's Court have severe autism and often complex medical needs but
visiting a new environment with crowded waiting rooms and unfamiliar
equipment can be a stressful experience for these young people. Prior’s Court plans to transform an existing building into a Health and Wellbeing Hub. Jill
McDonagh, fundraising manager at Prior’s Court said “The donation from
the Rotary Club of Hungerford will enable Prior’s Court to equip a
medical treatment room within the hub so that we can help young people
to become comfortable with dentist chairs, examination beds and waiting
areas”. When
this facility is completed, young people at Prior’s Court will have a
better chance of receiving the best possible medical care, where and
when they need it.
