Shelter Box for Haiti
Hungerford Rotary Club funds another Shelterbox
Over the years Hungerford Rotary club has funded a number of shelterboxes which are sent to areas of natural disasters. The latest one has been sent to help the earthquake stricken people of Haiti. Each Shelterbox cost £590 and contains a number of life supporting items including lights, cookery items, blankets, tools and water purifiers. The shelterbox imitative was started by Rotary International and continues to be one of the major contributions to aid in time of crisis, throughout the world.
