A visit from our Twin Club

Hungerford Rotary Club recently played host to 14 visiting Rotarians and their partners from Hungerford's twin club in Fontaine l'Eveque, Belgium plus two Rotary exchange students from South America. The weekend took in lots of activities for the guests including a visit to both Milestones Museum, Basingstoke and Littlecote House, Chilton Foliat. The final event on the Saturday evening was  A Magical Evening of Opera at the Hungerford Town Hall where Rotarians, guests and friends  enjoyed the very best in Hospitality and wonderful singing from the Opera group "Elixir". Hungerford Club waved Belgium group farewell on the Sunday morning as they left for home on the train. The next Twinning event will be held in Belgium in 2020.
