A Night at the Opera

An Evening with Opera Group Elixir

This very special event was a triumph and widely regarded as one of the best events that Hungerford Rotary club has ever organised. It took place in Hungerford Corn Exchange where the guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly followed by an excellent meal provided by Coleshill catering. The stars of the show were undoubtedly the singers who performed throughout the evening. An Opera group from London called Elixir. 2 boys and 3 girls (one of whom was the excellent pianist). They sang songs by Puccini and  Bizet through to  Bernstein and Lerner and Loewe. Their wonderful voices filled the hall providing a night to remember. The event also helped to raise over One Thousand pounds for local and international charities. Well done to Myles and his helpers for arranging such a successful event.
