We live in a consumer society where we’re constantly told to buy new replacements instead of fixing what we have. But did you know this habit is draining household budgets and costing local taxpayers?

West Berkshire Council spends £20 million an year on waste management alone. At a single Hungerford Repair Café event, our amazing volunteers save around 80 kg of household items from landfill!

From saving an expensive office chair to helping regulars "save hundreds of pounds," we are breaking the expensive cycle of waste.
