Our candidate talks to the club

Two inspirational local young women are being sponsored by Hungerford Rotary Club to grow their leadership skills and make a difference around the world.

Izzy Tolputt, a committed volunteer with local Ghana charity Action Through Enterprise and Brighton University Student, is heading to Wales in July to take part in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, an intensive residential leadership development program, whilst Anna Scarott, year 13 student at St Barts, heads to Ghana teach children who live in poverty.

Izzy said ‘I’m so grateful for the skills and experiences I’m building. I want to make the world a better place and I’m embracing ever opportunity to make this possible.’

‘It’s amazing to see the next generation of change-makers coming through! Our transformational work in Ghana shows us that anything is possible – we can all make a difference, if we have the right support. I’m so glad that Hungerford Rotary Club are able to help Izzy and Anna in this way - they are the future.’ Sarah Annable-Gardner MBE, Chief Exec of Action Through Enterprise.
