Music for Life: Music and Dementia
www.playlistforlife.org.uk is a charity founded by the daughter of Magnus "I've started, so I'll finish" Magnusson and his wife Mamie, who developed dementia. The charity encourages people to compile a musica playlist which is proven to help people living with dementia and the people who care for hem. The PowerPoint presentation has four moving videos and culminates with audience participation, whereby they hear their own essential muic tracks and explain why they are special.
The speaker is Jim Matthews from the Rotary Club of Leicester Novus.
