Corporate Membership

We are very fortunate to have Wykes Engineering as a Corporate Member of our Club.  They have been very proactive in supporting various projects and events which we have carried out.

We have been involved in a District wide project headed by the Rotary Club of Daventry Danetre, whereby we are supplying solar panels in Nepal to provide water to a school and the local community, high in the mountains where it is difficult to pump water to.   As well as our own club donation of £500.00,  Chelveston Renewable Energy have also donated £500.00 for a further solar panel.  Both these donations have been matched with a district grant, meaning that a total of £2,000.00 has been raised by our club with the help of our Corporate member.

As you will see from our Environmental Page, we held two days of educational shows at Rushden Lakes and Stanwick Lakes.  This was performed by a professional theatre company - Laugh Out Loud Theatre - and was sponsored by Wykes Engineering.  We really value their support of this venture.
