Burns Night Supper

Another boring Burns Night Supper!

A welcome was given by President Graham to our guests & our MC McRic invited Wee Davey to say the Selkirk Grace.

Ian, our man with the bagpipes accompanied by chef Andrew, performed the piping in the of the Haggis ceremony. The address to a Haggis was recited in style by Mike McGaffney.

A delicious traditional meal of soup; Haggis, neeps & tatties followed by Cranachan was served.

The Immortal Memory, celebrating Robert Burns’ life and works was delivered in his usual amusing way by Capt. Andrew MacBarr.

President Graham proposed the Toast to the Lassies with Emma McD swiftly replying in a poetic & witty manner.

After the meal the usual mixture of historical & hysterical McStuff & MacNonsense including some music was provided by MC McRic with support from DJ Em.

The evening concluded with a magnificent rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
