On Saturday 8th August the race finally arrived after Paul flew to Sweden to take part in 95km Cykelvasan Oppet Spar, a gruelling mountain bike event through the forests and trails of central Sweden.

As part of Paul's Youth & Vocational role in Rainhill Rotary Club, & as Oakdene's Chair of Governors, he used this challenge to help raise funds and awareness for a local primary school fundraising project, bringing together our shared commitment to supporting education, young people and the wider community.

All done & dusted. Much tougher event than he thought but loved it "Felt really fit & strong and really happy with the race."
