The Silver Link Social Club is based at The Link in The Palace Hub on Redcar Esplanade. The club was started about 10 months ago and Rotarian Christine Wilson is the driving force behind it. The aim is to end the isolation, improve mental health following the Covid restrictions and to make new friends.
There are approximately 20 members with 10 to 15 meeting on a regular basis every Wednesdat between 1 - 3pm for a chat, bingo, quizes, Tai Chi and chair exercises.
We were delighted to donate £250 towards future events in 2023.
