We were pleased to support the Orchestras Live "Our music, our way" project engaging children from Badger Hill Primary School, Freeborough Academy, St Peter's CofE Primary School and TunedIn to create a piece of music based on the prompt "what I love about where I live". Young people had a unique opportunity to collablerate with professional musicians from the leading project partner Manchester Camerata, composer Kate Pearson and Tees Valley Youth Orchestra.
The project culminated in an event on 6th December at Freeborough Academy where the children performed their music creations along with Manchester Camerata. The event was also attended by Trustees of The B O Davies Trust who also supported the project and Redcar & Cleveland Mayor Stuart Smith.
