Amongst other projects, Going 4 Independence deliver art and crafting workshops to blind and isually impaired groups. The £150 will be used to proivde light lunches for the group at the United Reformed Church in Redcar. This will allow the group to socialise with their peer group and give them more confidence following the last 2 years of Covid restrictions.
We presented the funds to Sophie Baxter and Pam Bennet at our club meeting on Monday 5th September. We are thrilled to have been able to help.
If you want to help us help others more, then we are actively looking for new members. Interested? Get in touch with us.
