Last year was the 25th year of the 50/50 sponsored walk organised by the Rotary Club of Redcar, but this year is our 25th walk (we didn't walk in 2001 due to foot and mouth) hence the Silver Jubilee name.
On Sunday 1 May 1988 we set out on the
old railway round Rosedale, so this year on Sunday 8 September we are following the same course
round one of the most beautiful dales in the North York Moors national park.
We are walking in aid of Sands, a charity which
supports anyone affected by the death of a baby. We hope that you will raise a record amount in this Jubilee year to assist this cause.
