In a spectacular setting under the wings of Concorde at the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton, over 60 Rotarians, Honorary Members, partners and guests were entertained by a string quartet and given free rein to explore this iconic building with its amazing collection of Naval aircraft. Guests included Rear Admiral Terry Loughran and Rev Mark Jackson with their partners Philippa & Liz respectively, Yeovil Rotary Club President Michael Ferdinando and Past Assistant District Governor Jane Redfearn.
A splendid meal followed, after which Peter Prager (President 2016 – 2017) congratulated Cate Whitewood as incoming President for 2017 – 2018 and Yeo Vale's first lady President.
Much good humour followed featuring Peter Prager and Hon Treasurer Phil Scrancher as two inept aircrew culminating in another hilarious skit this time from Cate about the trials and tribulations of a wholly dysfunctional troupe of boy scouts.
Our members now look forward to another busy and challenging year.
