The Rotary Club of Oxford Isis Classic Car Show 2014 was held on Sunday August 17th. The show is in its seventh year and raises funds for local charities; this year like last the main beneficiary will be ROSY (Respite care for Oxford's sick youngsters).
We had several anxious moments as the weather did not look too promising but we held our nerve as did over a hundred exhibitors and a great day out was had by all. Once again the club is indebted to Rotarians Alicia and Norman Goodey who orgaised the show and led the project team making sure, once again, that the show was a rip-roaring success.
The pictures above were taken by club photographer Rotarian David Holmes and show our competition winners:
Starting top left and going clockwise; Best unrestored entry, best condition, best pre-war and best pre-1965.
Finally below is the winner of our 'special award' and a 1960 pink Cadillac is pretty special.
