Rotary year’s run from the 1st July until 30th June of the following year and a new President is elected each year. This year the club Presidential handover took place at the Highwoods Golf Club Bexhill on 2nd June. Retiring President Marcia Bryant, a previous Senlac Rotarian, had overseen the successful merger of the two clubs, the RC of Senlac and the RC of St Leonards on Sea. The merger also officially took effect from 1st July 2025. Marcia thanked all for their support throughout the year and and especially for her nominated charity, Matha Trust, who provide a range of residential care services. She thanked incoming President Therese Mahindraker (Terry) for all she had done to aid the merging of the two clubs and presented her with a PHF. A PHF award is accrued by the club by virtue of the donations they make to our charity The Rotary Foundation and is much prized by the recipients.
Terry responded thanking Marcia and the club members for all the work that had been done in bringing the two clubs together. She then presented Colin Goldsack with the President Elect’s chain of office, Colin will take over as President on 1st July 2026.
