Senlac Rotary’s Christmas dinner took place on 14th December, 2022 at the Highwoods Golf Club in Bexhill. Despite a number of members being unable to attend because of health problems and the freezing and icy conditions some 45 members and guests attended. The Golf Club again came up trumps with an excellent three course meal during which diners could pit their wits over a Christmas quiz set by the sadly absent Val Relfe.
The raffle was again organised by Chris Folley, who had used her charms to rustle up a large number of prizes, raised £230 which will be used to help local charities and other good causes.
President Roger Young closed the dinner and expressed his thanks to Val and Chris for their part and to Andy Cruttenden who had organised the evening superbly.
