This Wednesday, 9 February 2022, Senlac Rotary descended on the Royal Victoria Hotel in St Leonards in a “raid” on the St Leonards Club and enjoyed a meal and social time with them.
Following the meal, a challenge took place; St Leonards had challenged Senlac to a “Would I lie to you?” panel game. Subjects were somewhat diverse ranging from “I was caught on CCTV at the House of Lords with my dress in disarray”, true, and “Mohamed Ali took me to tea”, true, to “I was trained as a get-away driver”, lie, and “I create a new Brussel sprout recipe every year”, lie. St Leonards managed better than Senlac at sniffing out the truth and ran out winners by 8 points to four.
Thank you to St Leonards for hosting a very entertaining evening.
