Senlac Rotarians Help Out at Christmas Dinner

Sun, Dec 8th 2019 at 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Sidley Community Association’s annual Christmas lunch

It was party time at Sidley House on Sunday, 8th December for some of the older residents of Sidley. Some fifty local people went along to the Sidley Community Association’s annual Christmas lunch and Senlac Rotarians were there to help with preparing the hall, serving the meals and clearing up. The Mayor of Bexhill, Councillor Kathy Harmer, joined in the festivities taking time to talk to all the people. Carols were on the menu after the dinner and Father Christmas, alias Rotarian and Councillor Jimmy Carroll, helped with the raffle. Senlac Rotary’s Community committee chairman Barry Pick said, “It was a very friendly and happy time and everyone enjoyed themselves.”
