The Annual Handover took place on Wednesday 4th July.
Outgoing President Linda Fearn thanked all those who had given her so much support over the year. She was pleased to have served a club which does and gives so much and where the members are so supportive of the club and each other. Welcoming new President Dave Miles, she wished him and his team well for the coming year. After receiving the chain of office and his President’s Pin from Linda, Dave took over the meeting and welcomed and presented the new team with collars and pins.
The new team will be:-
President Elect Fitz FitzGraham
Vice President Helen Knight
Treasurer Colin Davis
Joint Secretary Marcia Bryant and Helen Knight
Dave thanked Linda for her excellent year and, as did Linda, thanked Mike Dodge for his years of dedicated service to the Treasurer’s post and Mike Styles who has moved to Eastbourne and resigned from the post of Secretary.
In his speech Dave also welcomed his new Chairs and the new Council members and said how much he was looking forward to working with them.
