Rotary Club of Senlac President, Roger Young, hosted the annual President’s dinner at the Cooden Beach Hotel, Bexhill on 7 May 2106. Over 60 Rotarians from both Senlac and surrounding clubs together with partners came along to the black tie event to support Roger as his term of presidency draws to a close. The Guest of Honour was Rotary District Governor, Ray Dixon, who proposed the toast to the club and, in doing so praised the club for the many activities it organises particularly the Classic Car Show and the Jazz Picnic. He highlighted that Roger had achieved a Rotary milestone of 25 year’s service and presented him with a commemorative certificate. Following the speeches music was provide by the band, No Exit, who soon got many from their chairs to dance the evening away.
