Blood Pressure Checks in Battle

High blood pressure may be the cause of strokes. Some fifty people in Battle had their blood pressure checked as part of a joint initiative between the Stroke Awareness Society and Rotary International. Members of the Rotary Club of Senlac spent a morning speaking to people on the street about the need for regular checks and the consequences of abnormal blood pressure. Of the fifty people who agreed to be checked by the St John’s Ambulance Brigade six were advised to attend their doctor for further checks. The Rotary Club of Senlac is grateful to Barraclough and Stiles who kindly provided accommodation for the checks to be done.
