Jimmy Receives PHF from President Colin

Special Award to Jimmy Carroll -

Mr Sidley

Rotarian Jimmy Carroll, a member of the Rotary Club of Senlac St Leonards, has been given a
special award. At a meeting to mark the start of a new Rotary year Jimmy was presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship for his services to community over many years. He received the Fellowship from newly installed President Colin Goldsack who said, “I am so pleased to be able to present this well-deserved award to Jimmy, also known as Mr Sidley, for his outstanding services to Rotary and to the wider community. He is a wonderful ambassador for the club.” A somewhat taken aback
Jimmy, said how surprised he was, “I wasn’t expecting this but I am delighted to get
this award.”
The Paul Harris Fellowship (PHF) named after Rotary's founder, Paul Harris, is in recognition of $1000 donation to the Rotary Charity, "The Rotary Foundation". Clubs in turn award these to people who have shown exceptional service to Rotary or to the community as a whole and is much prized by members.
