Success for Young Photographers
The Rotary Club of South Foreland ran its Young Photographer Competition at the end of January with the presentation of Awards on 13th February. The photographs of three of our entrants, all from the Dover Grammar School for Girls, went on to the Rotary District Final. These were Kesiwe Dube, winner of the intermediate category, Keeley McHugh who won the Senior category, and Laurel Fishlock whose photos were highly commended. We are proud of their success for which they are to be congratulated. In May Kesiwe was winner of the Disrict Intermediate category and Laurel of the Senior District category; their work therefore went on to the Rotary National Finals, a great achievement.

The Young Photographer Competition in 2020 will be at a similar time to 2019: details will be circulated to schools in the autumn and we look forward to welcoming entries from primary and secondary schools or individual entrants so that we can build on this year’s success.
