The Rotary Club of South Foreland covers St Margaret's Bay, Dover, Deal and surrounding areas and is committed to supporting these communities.  The Club was founded in 1985 as there was need for a club that met in the evening rather than at lunchtime. Meetings are held in the Marina Hotel on Dover seafront on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm.

You may have seen Rotarians selling poppies, collecting money for charities at Christmas or clearing litter, but we do much more than that. We are always looking for people to help us with the many projects that we have running throughout the year.  Some projects help local people and organisations while others are national or international.  An example of a local project is the annual Young Photographer Competition for youngsters from the ages of 7 to 18. We also have a biennial event known as the Garden Safari in St Margaret's when residents open their gardens to the public to raise money for Pilgrims' Hospices.  A well known international project is the End Polio Now Campaign; earlier this year the club took part in a national Grand Tour (entering 2 cars) to raise money towards polio eradication.  The featured pages will give you an idea of what the club is currently doing.

For those who are interested in Rotary but haven't time to commit to full membership, we have associate membership.  We also have Friends of Rotary if you just want to support the organisation and receive updates of what is happening.

Most of all we have fun!  Please contact us if you would like more information.

You can email us at: rotaryindover@gmail.com  We would love to hear from you.
