The Rotary Club of Calverley persuaded Santa to visit in 2023 setting up his cosy grotto next to Asda at Owlcotes.
Children were able to have their photos taken in Santa's grotto free of charge and were able to let Santa and his elves know what they were hoping to get as presents.
The very generous local shoppers provided the Rotary collectors with nearly £2,000 which helped to provide Christmas Day lunches for the elderly and lonely people in our community
The Rotary Club of Calverley has agreed with Santa that he should visit us again in 2024 so keep your eyes peeled in The Squeaker and on Facebook for the dates he will be with us.
