Rosemary graduated at Newcastle in 1976 and practised in London for the first four years of her career. She came back to the North East before the birth of her first son and just before their second son came along she and husband Chris - who hails from this area - bought a practice of their own.
They sold their practice five and a half years ago and Chris went to work at Newcastle Dental Hospital, while Rosemary worked in practices in Northumberland and part time at the Dental Hospital. Last year she retired from practice at the Hospital.
September 2010 saw Rosemary's first trip to Tanzania. For the rest of the story, you'll need to be at the meeting!
