Once the 'Namby-Pambies' had nailed
their colours to the mast by again pulling their bed-covers over
their heads, the intrepid 'Ruffty-Tuffty" members comprised of Chris,
Ed, Anne, Pam and Greg, representing the Rotary Club of Tyneside Grand Superior
Overarching Walking Group, met at 1030 hrs and stepped out strongly from
Rothbury.

back The "Walking Committee" was formed about eight years ago and our first 'real' series of walks took in the Hadrian's Wall path from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway. The walks were so successful that we soon lifted our sights.
